The Scouts tried their hand at a bit of sewing and made some lovely hand warmers. We will be finishing them off next week and will post the pdf here if anyone wants to have a go at home! We even had some chocolates to share round as we said goodbye to one of Scouts moving to Scotland. We wish her all the best in the future! #iscout #jointheadventure #skillsforlife
The Scouts have been busy at the RAF Museum. We’ve learnt how planes fly, their uses through the ages and the wars, and even managed a spot of McDonald’s for lunch! Everyone has also gained their Stage 3 Ai\nr Activity Badge! Even the leaders got involved in dressing up! A very fun day!
There is no denying that yesterday was a great day for getting out in the sun and trying something new. That was exactly the plan for our beavers and cubs.
A quick train ride and a walk and we were at Fundays at Gilwell park. a massive outdoor activity day for beavers and cubs. with so many activities they had very little time to stop and have lunch!
